Thayer Coggin Lounge Chair

A Thayer Coggin lounge chair. Excellent, and now iconic, flatbar chair designed by Milo Baughman and manufactured by Thayer Coggin (see picture of intact tag). Prized for comfort, sleek looks, and classic lines, this piece is sure to sparkle in any modernist environment.

Measures 30" wide, 32" deep, 27" high with a 16" seat height. Ample room!

Very Good original vintage condition. Frame is clean and free of damage. Fabric shows no damage with the exception of one hole in top left cushion (see picture)...still, it could be reupholstered.

Asking $825.

Royal Metal Corporation Chrome Desk Chair

Royal Metal Corporation (Michigan City, Indiana) industrial chrome desk chair with arms. Wonderful condition and stamp dated 11/67.

Asking $55.

Nice 1950's Carrom International Desk

Nice 1950's Carrom International desk. This desk has a similar design to the Paul McCobb Planner group series for which he was famous. The legs of this table aren't as diagonally spindly and, instead of two-drawer space, there are two open shelves. There is one small top drawer where the Carrom label is clearly visible and the foil sticker is in outstanding condition. The sticker allowed me to stamp date this piece. Shampaine Industries of St. Louis, MO. buys Carrom Industries (1951). Institutional furniture makes up the largest part of the company's volume. The desk itself could use a little sanding, perhaps, but the Champagne finish is in good-very good condition. There is one small circular chip in the veneer (see photo with quarter). There are also to-be-expected superficial dings and superficial scrapes for a table this age but I think the personality of this piece is fabulous.

Asking $195.

Danish Drop-Leaf Table

Danish drop-leaf table. When compact, this amazing space-saving piece is only 8 1/4" long, however, when fully extended it measures 41-1/2" long. It also measures 28-1/2" high. This beautiful piece is unmarked but it could possibly be attributed to the likes of Hans Wegner or Bruno Mathson. This table (top, specifically) is in rough shape and would need to be professionally refinished. One side of the table has a vertical hairline crack that could easily be re-glued, however, both these projects are outside the scope of my ability.

An identical table was listed on eBay, after having been professionally refinished in an undesirable (my opinion,) stain for $760.00 and $240.00 shipping.

Asking $350.

Herman Miller/Eames Russet Fiberglass Chair

Herman Miller/Eames Russet, or, Hermes orange fiberglass chair with foam and rubber bikini design. Nice polymer banding around the chair in light brown. This piece is in fabulous vintage condition. It is stamp dated April 29, 1972. Interestingly, this piece doesn't have a Herman Miller sticker, rather, the Herman Miller insignia and "Herman Miller" signature is emblazoned into the fiberglass.

Asking $150.

Vintage Herman Miller Round Dining Table and 4 Chairs

Vintage Herman Miller/Charles and Ray Eames round 42" dining table and chairs (4). The table features natural veneer in the Walnut finish. It has the 4-star polished aluminum base with casters. The table has one minute chip (see picture with dime,) but it is in excellent condition. The chrome base could use a good cleaning but I like having items in their original condition. Of course, there are some small signs of pitting but it should clean up real nicely.

The chairs are the molded fiberglass with the original foam and rubber "bikini" design in white. I would call 2 of the chairs in "fair" condition (see photo of worst separation from the fiberglass,) and 2 of the chairs in "good-almost very good" condition. One chair is missing one (1) glide. The cylindrical plastic part that encases the foot is intact; the circular disc to graze the floor is missing. See photos for the Herman Miller, what I call the "Westinghouse crown", stamp and the patent stamp. While these chairs aren't stamp-dated, I do have a red desk chair from the same series that denotes April 29, 1972.

Asking $795.
